Help Us Support the IDF

At Eretz HaTzvi, we emphasize both Zionism and giving back to the community. In our campaigns to help soldiers serving in the IDF, both come together.

Feedback about our support for the IDF

This is a letter we recieved from a Battalion Commander

I am a commander in the 46th armored battalion of the IDF. My company is now stationed in the Town of Beitar Illit in Gush Etzion.
For the second time in the past month we were very happy to have you guys bring pizza over to our road block. It really does give us a great feeling and it helps us pass the long, cold and sometimes very boring 8 hour shifts.

On behalf of all 'The Guys From Company C' Thanks a lot for your support, we really appreciate it.

Mishloach Manot to a Soldier

You can partner with Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi in a wonderful way to say thank you to the soldiers of the IDF. Students will purchase and delivery unique mishloach manot (hamburgers, fries, and drinks) to soldiers defending Eretz Yisrael throughout the country.

The yeshiva is charging $30 for each package in the hopes of delivering as many as possible. This is a great educational opportunity promoting hakarat hatov and raising the spirits of both the soldiers and our students.

Purchase of these mishloach manot is made securely by credit card and is tax deductable.

You can purchase as many of these presents as you would like. We will email you photographs of the creation and reception of the packages as well.

For Alumni in the IDF

While we are trying to lift the spirits of all soldiers in the IDF, we especially want to send a warm message to our sons, the bnei yeshiva of Yeshivat Eretz HaTzvi now serving.

Our goal is to get 100% alumni participation. We are only asking for a $5.00 donation so that every alumnus can send a special message to their friends and fellows who are now serving Am Yisrael by fighting for Israel.

We plan to deliver a very large gift to each soldier full of food, candies, and other items to make Purim something significant.

Pizza Run

At Yeshiva Eretz HaTzvi, we have made a name for ourselves by many of our creative Chesed projects. One of the more popular one for students, partners, and soldiers, is are famous Pizza Run.

Around once a month or so we take a group of students, late at night, to buy pizzas and drinks for delivery to soldiers at outposts, bases, and road blocks.

These soldiers are protecting Israel by putting their lives on the lines. It is an extremely tiresome and lonely job -- especially at night. By showing that we care, we try to take a bit of the load off. In addition, it is a wonderfull opportunity for our students to meet and speak with peers who are spending their time between high school and college serving Am Yisrael on the front lines.

We charge $25 for each pie and a bottle of soda.
